Detailed process and process of cold plating

The cold-galvanized wire is continuously plated with iron in the plating tank. The production speed is slow, the coating is uniform, the thickness is usually 3-15 microns, and the appearance is bright, rust-proof and decorative.

It is made of high-quality low-carbon steel wire rod, which is processed by high-quality low-carbon steel wire through drawing, pickling and rust removal, high temperature annealing, hot galvanizing and cooling.

Finished product of wire: wire rod (raw material) - large pull - medium pull - annealed - small pull - black annealed wire.

After processing into an annealed wire, the zinc plating process can be performed.

Plating process:

Workpiece, oil, water washing, rust removal activation, water washing, plating, water washing, hot water heating, air drying, immersion antirust oil, packaging, finished products.

Precautions (reference)

1. The plating tank must be made of stainless steel or ceramic, enamel, plastic.

2. Oil stains and rust on the surface of the workpiece will seriously affect the quality of the coating. Oil and rust should be completely removed.

3. The plating solution should be controlled to a temperature of 15-30 degrees.

4. Preparation of plating solution: APCu-8A/B stock solution (volume) + tap water two to three parts (volume) and stir well. One part (volume) of APCu-8A/B stock solution + one to two centimeters (volume) of tap water is thoroughly mixed.

5. The coating finish is directly proportional to the substrate finish.

6. Daily management of plating solution:

A. When the plating solution is not suitable for use, the new liquid should be added.

B. When the plating solution fails, it is diluted with a large amount of water and discharged into the wastewater pool.

7. The plating solution has no strict requirements on the plating load.

Warehousing quality

Store in a cool place and store in a sealed place. Shelf life is 18 months.

How to prevent the wire from rusting and how to deal with the wire after it is rusty

When iron is put on for a long time, it will rust, iron will rust easily, and because of its chemical nature, colleagues have a lot to do with external conditions. Moisture is one of the substances that make iron easy to rust. However, the presence of water does not rust the iron. Only when oxygen in the air dissolves in the water, oxygen reacts with iron in a watery environment to produce something called iron oxide. This is rust. . Rust is a brown-red material. It is not as hard as iron. It is easy to fall off. After a piece of iron is completely rusted, the volume can expand 8 times. If the rust is not removed, the spongy rust is particularly easy to absorb moisture, and the iron will burn faster.

Rust prevention process (reference)

1. The workpiece is immersed in 3-5% metal cleaning agent at 80-95 degrees for 10-15 minutes or mechanically cleaned, and taken out with tap water for 0.5-1 minute.

2. If the workpiece is rusted, remove it by conventional acid rust removal method, soak it in 3% hydrochloric acid solution for 10-20 seconds for surface activation, and then rinse with tap water for 0.5-1 minutes.

3. Soak the workpiece into the configured plating solution for 10 to 180 seconds (depending on the workpiece). After plating, take out the workpiece, rinse it with tap water for 0.5-1.0 minutes, soak it in the passivation solution for 5-10 minutes, take it out for 0.5-1.0 minutes with tap water, and then heat it in hot water of 80-95 degrees for 0.5 minute. The workpiece is taken out and naturally evaporated (or blown) in the air.

4. Soak the waterless workpiece into the descaling oil for more than 1 minute, and take out the finished product after draining out most of the oil.
