To this end, the China Electricity Council proposes to actively adopt climate change through structural adjustment and energy efficiency. The specific work includes starting a batch of large and medium-sized hydropower projects as soon as possible, unifying and improving the resettlement management policy; orderly opening up the nuclear power investment market, releasing the investment rights of nuclear power holdings for the large-scale power generation group, realizing the diversification of nuclear power control owners; supporting the promotion of wind power, Solar energy and other renewable energy industrialization; actively promote coal-electricity integration, do a good job of transmission planning for large-scale coal-fired power bases, actively encourage coal-fired transmission and electricity, and build an integrated energy transportation system.
Electricity demand growth will continue to fall in the fourth quarter
In the first three quarters of the heavy industry, the growth rate of electricity consumption in the whole society has dropped sharply from the high level, and the pulling effect of electricity consumption in key industries has gradually weakened. Based on various influencing factors, the China Electricity Council announced recently that it is expected that the national electricity consumption demand will remain basically stable in the fourth quarter, the growth rate will further decline, and the power supply capacity will be further enhanced. The report shows that the energy saving and emission reduction assessment in the fourth quarter will enter the final stage, which will further accelerate the adjustment of industrial power structure, and the growth rate of heavy industry electricity consumption will further decline, bringing greater uncertainty to the annual power forecast. Considering the overall situation, the growth rate of electricity in the fourth quarter is expected to be low. The growth rate of monthly electricity consumption in most provinces will continue to decline or even negatively increase. The total electricity consumption of the whole country is about 4.1 trillion kWh.
