Green barriers continue to rise

In recent years, countries around the world, especially the European Union, have issued a large number of laws and regulations on the ecological safety performance requirements of consumer products. In particular, the "REACH Regulation" implemented by the European Union and the CPSIA (US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) introduced by the United States are particularly eye-catching. At present, some EU buyers are asking for a clause in the contract that “cannot meet the “European Ecological Hardware Standards” for 10% of the purchase price” when placing an order with a Chinese company.

Experts believe that the impact of green barriers on China's foreign trade exports has exceeded the impact of anti-dumping cases and has become an issue that cannot be avoided after WTO accession. Under the premise of people-oriented and harmonious development of society, economy, environment and human health, the emergence, existence and development of green trade barriers have their reasonable and legal side, but to cross this barrier, more costs will be paid to trade development. Promoting green management is imminent

At the same time, in the face of increasingly strengthened green barriers, Chinese hardware companies should actively promote green management.
