Winter planting farmyard fertilizer should pay attention

In winter, there are fewer farming activities and relatively abundant labor. It is a good time to pile up farmyard manure. Piled up with decomposed farmyard manure, just for spring use. However, in winter, the farmyard manure is piled up. Because of the low temperature, the farmer's fertilizer is not easy to heat up after being piled up, and it is difficult to ferment and decompose. To solve this problem, you should pay attention to the following points in the specific operation:

First, choose the right place. It should be chosen as a stacking place, which is close to the fertiliser source and has a flat terrain, leeward sun and convenient transportation.

Second, increase the thermal fertilizer. In the stacked farmyard manure, increasing the proportion of hot manure such as cow dung is beneficial to the fermentation temperature.

Third, add chemicals. If the stacking material is mainly manure, adding some calcium superphosphate can not only accelerate the composting of the manure, prevent the loss of nitrogen volatilization in the manure, but also increase the content of organic phosphorus in the fertilizer and improve the efficacy of the phosphate fertilizer. If the stacking material is mainly crop straws and leaves, adding 0.5%~1% ammonium bicarbonate and appropriate amount of human excreta and urine can adjust the carbon to nitrogen ratio, promote the straw maturity, and improve the fertilizer content. The amount of nitrogen increases the fertilizer efficiency. If the proportion of human excrement in the stacking material is large, adding 0.5% of ferrous sulfate can convert the ammonium carbonate in human urine into ammonium sulfate with stable properties, which can protect the fertilizer from deodorization and prevent nitrogen from being released.

Fourth, control the compost humidity. The various stacking materials are uniformly mixed, and the humidity is adjusted at the same time, and the hand is held into a group, and the floor is dispersed to prevent the humidity from being too high. The gas permeability after the pile is poor, and the heating and fermentation are difficult.

5. Appropriately increase the manure pile. The height of the manure pile is required to be more than 1.5 meters, and the shape is preferably round. The periphery of the manure pile is covered with dry straw, and then the mud cover film is closed to facilitate heating and heat preservation. The manure pile is too small, it is not easy to heat up, affecting the quality of compost.

Sixth, the implementation of smoke and warm. When the temperature is too low, a pit can be drilled in the manure pile, filled with flammable materials such as hay, and the pile is ignited after being built. The temperature of the pile is increased by slow smoke, and the compost is quickly heated and fermented.
