Yan Hui, general manager of Guotou Lop Nur Potash Co., Ltd., said that according to the current production situation of the company, this year's **potassium production will exceed last year, exceed 1.3 million tons, and sales revenue will exceed 4 billion yuan, thus becoming the world's largest * * Potassium producer.

Potash fertilizer is an indispensable fertilizer for agricultural production. Potash is the raw material for potash fertilizer. The Lop Nur area is rich in potash resources, with a long-term reserve of 500 million tons and a total proven resource of about 120 million tons. With the expansion of the capacity of the SDIC Potash Fertilizer Project, the potash resource in Lop Nur will significantly increase the self-supply rate of potash fertilizer in China.

The current potash fertilizer production in China is far from meeting the market demand. At present, the area of ​​shortage of potassium arable land has exceeded half of the total arable land area, and the external dependency of potash fertilizer has reached 70%.
